Therapy Options
Interpersonal Psychotherapy (IPT) is an approach that is used specifically as a treatment for depression. It focuses on how your relationships and interactions impact your emotional well-being. During sessions, we'll explore how your relationships affect your struggles and work on improving communication, conflict management, and relationship dynamics. IPT aims to empower you to handle emotions and relationships more effectively, leading to a more fulfilling life. IPT is not an approach that will fit everyone's needs so please feel free to inquire about IPT's benefits during our initial consultation.Person Centred Counselling is effective for a wide range of issues such as anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, trauma, and self-esteem challenges. It focuses on creating a safe, non-judgmental space where you can explore your feelings, thoughts, and experiences at your own pace. My goal is to empower you to navigate life's difficulties with resilience and clarity, fostering personal growth and well-being. The emphasis is on self-exploration and empowerment, allowing you to find your own solutions and make positive changes in your life.
