I offer a safe, inclusive, and non-judgmental space for those navigating gender, sexuality or complex relationship dynamics. At the heart of my work is a commitment to building strong, respectful therapeutic relationships. I believe this connection fosters trust, encourages personal growth and empowers you to build healthier relationships with yourself and others.I'm here to support you on your journey towards improved well-being. Let's begin this process together.
My approach
Whoever you are, however you connect with others and whatever your story, you deserve to be heard without judgment. My work isn’t about fixing or labelling - it’s about creating a space where you can explore who you are with curiosity and care.Whether you're navigating relationships, questioning your identity, managing day-to-day overwhelm or feeling out of step with the world around you, we can work together to make sense of your experience. The world often tries to fit people into boxes that don’t reflect who they truly are. In this space, there are no boxes - just you, as you are.
Need to know
I offer short or long term therapeutic and supervision work. I provide 50-minute sessions for therapy, and between 45-90 minute sessions for supervision but the frequency and total number of sessions can be tailored to align with your goals as we progress.I offer therapy via telephone or video and currently do not hold a face to face practice.
Services
Person Centred Counselling is effective for a wide range of issues such as anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, trauma, and self-esteem challenges. It focuses on creating a safe, non-judgmental space where you can explore your feelings, thoughts, and experiences at your own pace. My goal is to empower you to navigate life's difficulties with resilience and clarity, fostering personal growth and well-being. The emphasis is on self-exploration and empowerment, allowing you to find your own solutions and make positive changes in your life.Interpersonal Psychotherapy (IPT) is an approach that is used specifically as a treatment for depression. It focuses on how your relationships and interactions impact your emotional well-being. During sessions, we'll explore how your relationships affect your struggles and work on improving communication, conflict management, and relationship dynamics. IPT aims to empower you to handle emotions and relationships more effectively, leading to a more fulfilling life. IPT is not an approach that will fit everyone's needs so please feel free to inquire about IPT's benefits during our initial consultation.NUM Affiliate Therapy I offer NUM packages which provide therapy sessions free to you! I work with counsellors, psychotherapists, mental health nurses, social workers and teachers - to name a few.I use the Seven-Eyed Model of Supervision, a thoughtful and relational framework that takes into account different aspects of your work, including your practice, your relationships with clients and the broader context in which you operate. Reduced Fees
As part of my practice, I am committed to providing some reduced-fee sessions for individuals with limited income (not student/trainee therapists), ensuring that therapy is accessible to those who might not otherwise have the opportunity to access mental health support. This service is available without the need for formal documentation, although it is offered in a limited capacity, with a maximum of six sessions at the reduced rate. This session limitation is not enforced for student counsellors. Prior to beginning these sessions, an assessment will be conducted to ensure the suitability for short-term work.In line with ethical standards, I strive to avoid providing short-term solutions to those who would benefit more from a longer-term therapeutic approach. This consideration is rooted in a sincere concern for your well-being, aiming to prevent any potential increase in instability following our sessions. If you believe the reduced fee option would be beneficial for you, please reach out to discuss availability, as this service is in high demand and I maintain a short waitlist.
